Its been a great school year!
- We'd like to congratulate all those who accomplished great things this semester and won awards at our Spring 2008 Recognition Night Banquet. We would also like to welcome in the new 2008-2009 BGSA Executive Board! The new BGSA Exec Board's information will be up under the "About Us" tab later this summer.
- Just an FYI, BGSA does not hold General Body Meetings during the summer semester. If we have any events, we will be sure to email the details out to our members as well as post them here.
- For the Fall 2008 incoming minority graduate students, be sure to attend the OMED Graduate Transitions program that will be held in August before classes begin. More details later in the summer.
- Its been a great semester and BGSA would like to wish everyone the best on their summer endeavors!

Spring 2008 Recognition Night
When: Thursday April 24, 2008 @ 7:00pm
Where: Maggiano's Little Italy - in Buckhead
The Spring '08 semester is quickly coming to a close, which means that our biannual Recognition Night Event is fast approaching, and we all look forward to celebrating your success, achievements, and ability to go beyond the graduate status quo. Please continue to e-mail BGSA Rec Night Chair, Keith Reed (kgreed@gatech.edu) with the accomplishments of you and your peers for the Spring 2008 semester. This may include:
-Graduation / Thesis Defense
-Passing Qualifiers
-Obtaining Fellowships/Grants
-Presenting at Conferences
-Publications
-other personal achievements (sports, competitions, etc.)
We will also be passing the torch, as we welcome in the new elected 2008-2009 BGSA Executive Board! Please dress appropriately (business casual at minimum).
